The programme will feature readings, structured workshops and writing exercises, combined with free time for writing, relaxing or meditation. We will also be offering optional guided walks, visits and a group meal, in a local chateau. You will be invited to share your writing in a safe and supportive atmosphere, with encouragement to improve and explore your next steps and you will be able to benefit from optional one to one feedback or ideas generation sessions, if you wish.

The retreat content will run from 
6pm on Monday 29th April and will conclude with entertainment and a celebratory group meal on Thursday 2nd May in the evening, and the timetable can be flexible to suit individual needs and wishes if required. 

The price from £395 to £595 (depending on accommodation selected) includes all tuition, meals and accommodation in single or shared rooms with private or shared facilities. Breakfast, dinner and lunch are included from Monday evening until Friday morning. There will be the opportunity one evening to visit a local chateau for dinner, at a reasonable additional cost. A non-residential rate of £250 is also available for those who wish to travel daily.

Flights are not included but the proximal airport of Limoges is well served by budget airlines from Stanstead, Manchester and many regional UK airports. Airport or train station pick-ups can be arranged from Limoges (train and airport) or Angouleme (train).


Our retreats are held in the hamlet of Poumeroux, near Massignac. Accommodation is all within the hamlet and is a very short walk from our retreat meeting room.


Options range from luxury king sized  bedded rooms, with private facilities to two or three sharing in single or double beds, with shared facilities.

Meals (excluding one offsite meal at a local chateau) are included and are taken together to provide the opportunity for discussion and sharing of ideas.
